1. Become a
supporter
We invite anyone
and everyone to become members of Envirochild.
We have a small
membership fee to help
raise funds for our
projects and running costs.
This gives you
free entry to all events we hold and your name
listed on this page as a financial supporter of
this movement.
Please email
Danielle to join.
2.
Make a donation
We know how busy
people's lives can get and often we wish we had
more time to get involved in making the world a
better place but we barely have enough for our
own. If you believe in what we're doing please
consider making a donation (once off or
monthly). It will be put to good use and all
funds are audited.
Contact
Helen if you'd like to make a single
donation, or use this
debit order form if you can contribute anything from
R10 to R1000 per month. This will enable us to continue
this work in progress.
Envirochild is registered non
profit volunteer organisation.
Financial annual reports
are available on request.
2. Get on
the committee
If you would like
to help this initiative move forward and have
energy and ideas rather than money to contribute, please consider
becoming a
member of the envirochild committee.

BENEFITS OF SUPPORTING ENVIROCHILD
-
As Envirochild seeks to address
social and environmental injustice (through
awareness, civic involvement and job creation by
its projects and members), this should re-assure
property owners and businesses that we can avoid
a situation of social and political meltdown in
Hout Bay (food riots etc).
-
Envirochild
seeks to uplift and empower. It
strives to bring the people of HB together in
neighbourliness through events and open forums.
-
Envirochild
will show the community how to make changes at
home, in the work place and in social and
natural surroundings. (Skills transfer in areas
of growing food, recycling, renewable energy,
eco-friendly building, and to encourage the use
of clean resources to lessen pollution). These
changes will make families more self-reliant and
healthy, will save money and contribute to a
healthier planet.
-
Envirochild could also do
projects in core areas of Education, Sanitation
(IY sewerage pollution of river and beach) and
greening of public space.
